SAAC Member ID

Q: I am an Emory faculty/staff member. Do I get a SAAC member ID?
A: No. We will put your SAAC facility access directly onto your EmoryCard.

Q: How do I get a SAAC member ID?
A: After purchasing your SAAC membership, Your ID will then be ready for pick up in 5 – 7 business days at the Welcome Center.

Q: When I renew my SAAC membership, do I get a new SAAC member ID?
A: No, you can continue to use your original SAAC member ID.

Q: How old do I have to be to get a SAAC member ID?
A: Children ages 16 and older will receive SAAC member IDs. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 while in the SAAC.

Q: Who should I talk to if I am having issues with my ID?

Q: Can I order a new EmoryCard through the SAAC?
A: No. We can only make new SAAC member IDs. EmoryCards must be made at the EmoryCard office.

Q: How long does it take to get my SAAC member ID?
A: 5 – 7 business days after you take your picture at the Welcome Center or email your picture.

Q: Where do I pick up my new SAAC member ID?
A: At the SAAC Welcome Center.

Q: What happens if I lose my SAAC member ID?
A: Request a replacement ID at the SAAC Welcome Center. Replacement IDs cost $10.

SAAC Membership

Q: I am an adjunct professor at Emory. Do I qualify for the faculty/staff membership rate?
A: If you receive a paycheck from Emory University or Emory Healthcare, you qualify for the faculty/staff membership rate.

Q: I just bought a 14-Visit Guest Pass but I decided that I want a membership, can I have a refund on the pass?
A: We can credit any unused portion of the pass towards the purchase of your membership. The 14-Visit Guest Pass must be turned over to the Welcome Center.

Q: I just purchased a membership. How do I access the facility until I get my SAAC member ID?
A: Bring in your receipt and we can look you up to let you in at the Welcome Center!

Q: Does the SAAC offer payroll deduction for membership fees?
A: Yes, but only for an individual Emory faculty/staff membership.

Q: I have payroll deduction for my individual faculty/staff SAAC membership. Can I keep my payroll deduction for any length of time?
A: Yes, but when you wish to cancel you must submit a 30 day written notice before the cancellation will occur.
