Beginning April 15th, summer memberships (May 15-Sept 2) will be available for sale at the SAAC Welcome Desk only. Summer extended memberships are no longer available.

Due to Summer Membership season, new annual memberships will not be available for sale until June 1, 2024. We will renew annual memberships as long as they have not expired.
Please email recwell@emory.edu and do not call the SAAC front desk. The staff at the SAAC will direct you to the email which will be managed over the weekend.

SAAC Facilities
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is located on the first floor of the facility and features six Woodway treadmills, four arc trainers, two AMTs, two ellipticals, one upright bike, two recumbent bikes, 16 pieces of Cybex strength and conditioning training equipment, and free weights ranging from 3 to 80 pounds. Located beneath the stairs you will find stability balls and a stretching area. The Fitness Center also has a cardio theater with 6 large screen televisions. In addition to our first floor Fitness Center we have the Overlook, located on the second floor right above the stairs. The Overlook features an elliptical, two upright bikes, free weights and a stretching area.
Gym
The gym is located on the 1st floor and features 2 basketball courts that may also be setup for volleyball and badminton.
Classrooms
Several classrooms are available for use in the Student Activity & Academic Center. Room 315 & 317 are small study rooms that may be reserved for free for a maximum of 2 hours by members starting at 5:00pm for the following day by calling the front desk at 404-712-2430. Rooms 312, 316 and 316 are larger classrooms and are available for reservation by students, departments and the community. The Student Activity & Academic Center also features a computer lab and study space with five Mac computers. This lab is open to Emory students, faculty, and staff and you must use an ID to access.
SAAC Outdoor Facilities
The multipurpose field may be used for a variety of activities ranging from intramural games (soccer, ultimate frisbee, football) to campus-sponsored musical concerts.
The Aquatic Center at the Student Activity & Academic Center is a premier outdoor swimming facility offering its members a wide range of swimming opportunities. The Aquatic Center is complete with a 50-meter pool with two 1-meter diving boards, separate 25-yard 4-lane teaching pool and children’s pool. See opening dates and hours here.

The Student Activity & Academic Center boasts one of the finest tennis centers in the Atlanta metro area. The tennis center is comprised of six hard courts (Plexipave) and two soft courts (HAR-TRU Hyrdocourt System).
The Plexipave courts provide an all-weather, durable, quick drying surface that provides resistance to deterioration from ultra-violet rays. It is constructed with an acrylic latex surface formulated over concrete and asphalt.
The HAR-TRU Hydrocourt System is a unique subsurface irrigation system with a built-in controlled water reservoir that disperses water evenly throughout the clay surface. The clay courts are closed from last day of Fall Semester classes through spring break for the winter freeze/thaw cycle. During Emory's Spring Break the courts are reconditioned with four tons of topcoat as well as new lines and nails.
The Student Activity & Academic Center offers sand volleyball on a first-come, first-serve basis. Volleyballs are available for check out at the Welcome Desk.
